For those of you who use the M3/M27 at weekends, you should be aware that there will be three weekends when the M27 will be completely closed in both directions. The first closure will be from Friday 28 September to Monday 1st October.
The closures are to allow Highways England to replace the Romsey Road bridge on the A3057 that spans the M27 in both directions between junctions 3 and 4. The current bridge is made up of two individual bridges, and will be demolished in stages.
